Ahhhh! Tear some water! Boil some sheets!

There is a little snow/rain storm headed our way. No accumulation of snow is expected. Temperatures by morning of 37 or 38...and yet we have a winter storm warning...and yet the library was deserted today because everyone was out buying milk and bread...and yet an organization putting on a program at the library called an hour ago to say they were cancelling the program due to the weather...here's the current weather map:

Shouldn't one wait for the weather to begin before cancelling a program due to weather? Doctor! Doctor! I need a heart transplant today because I have risk factors for heart disease! My ticker's gonna blow in twenty years...maybe...

Today I said to a co-worker, "I guess I'd be pretty bored if I didn't have my fellow man to laugh at."

(Of course tomorrow when I'm trapped in my house due to ice, I'll have to rewrite this entry ;-)
